I had to read a book for one of my cla...Hey Candy,<br /><br />I had to read a book for one of my classes called "Why do Christians shoot their wounded?" A lot of it dealt with things like depression, where sometimes Christians are not as supportive or understanding as we should be. Depressed people don't want to be depressed, and just wanting to cheer up doesn't necessarily make it so. I think you are making the right decision for your overall health (in a holistic sense), and I hope you are getting some relief. I've heard it said that grief and depression are like soup; everyone makes it their own way. Do what you need to do to process your situation, and don't worry about what other people do/don't do in similar situations. I'm glad your chemo treatments are almost behind you. I know you're really ready to be done with them.
